Our Story

Winemaking - From generation to generation.

Winemaking for this family has been a labour of love, art and necessity.  Our wines have been made over decades, for both pleasure and pride. As grape-growing was the original family business, the idea of making our wines into a marketable product has now become a new drive and focus. This has enabled us to share years of knowledge and experience handed down through generations, and coupled it with technical knowhow and current, formal winemaking techniques.Winemaking began for the family in Northern Italy where tending to a small acreage of vines produced enough wine for yearly consumption and proud community "Grandstanding" for the late Giuseppe Guadagnini. The next Generation of wine production began for his son Corrado Guadagnini, where grape-growing in Australia in the 1980's, on the family vineyard was focused on supplying fruit to local wine producers, and continuing with the proud tradition of showing off their own wines to locals.

The current generation took the tradition down the path of formalised training. Robert Guadagnini received a degree in Applied Science for Wine Science  in 1995 from Charles Sturt University and began a long career in gaining experience and knowledge from a long list of Australian and European Winemakers over a period of 20 years.Today Robert produces his own range of wines selected from premium vineyards in NSW and concentrates his efforts on premium wines to showcase the family's name.  Please enjoy what the Guadagnini Family has to offer.
